For most Sheds, achieving an income that is independent of grants is most  important as Government or sponsor funding is unlikely to be ongoing.  Ideally fee-for-service projects which are aligned to community needs work the best.  Not only do these projects give members a great deal of personal satisfaction, they also provide community benefit and significantly increase the Menshed profile in the community.  In upcoming Tips, I will discuss how a number of Sheds are approaching this task.  Stand by.
