Trevor's No. 8 Tip - Health and Safety

Health safety considerations are (and should be) an ongoing responsibility for ALL sheds.   Don't be fazed by the title, it need not be complicated - often commonsense  and remaining alert is a key ingredient.

An OH&S policy documen is a good place to start as it demonstrates to your members and regulators that you have though about issues such as labelling; equipment and machinery maintenance; dust, paint and other potentially hazardhous materials and of course, the safety of all of your electrical wiring.

Your OH&S policy should be quite specific in each of these areas.
